Join Houston First Corporation (HFC) on May 14th from 4pm to 9pm as we amplify the voices of the Asian American Pacific Islander community during AAPI Amplified. HFC will celebrate and support Houston’s vibrant AAPI communities with an evening of traditional and contemporary dance performances, a fashion exhibition featuring traditional attire from several Asian countries, and an outdoor market featuring local AAPI-owned businesses.
Houston First Corp is the official destination management organization for the city of Houston. In addition, Houston First owns the Hilton Americas-Houston hotel, manages the George R. Brown Convention Center along with 10 city-owned properties and developed the Avenida Houston entertainment district.
AAPI Amplified would not be possible without the support of the local Asian community. Together with Houston First, Asia Society Texas, Japan-America Society of Houston, Korean-American Chamber of Commerce, Filipino Young Professionals of Houston, and the Lao American Association will delight visitors with a cultural experience filled with music, dance, fashion and shopping.
The event is free and open to the public.
