Try your hand at Kakizome (the first Japanese calligraphy of the year), play traditional Japanese new year games, make a daruma goal setting doll, and pound mochi! Special wagashi treats by Oyatsu Aoi will also be available for purchase.
Also enjoy performances by KAMINARI TAIKO, REIKO OBATA and MICHAEL MARTIN and learn how the years were named through a kamishibai reading.
