March 2: “The Mouse’s Wedding“ and Rocking Hina Matsuri Dolls

Join us as we celebrate Hina Matsuri, also known as Doll Festival or Girl’s Day, with the story of “The Mouse’s Wedding.” Following the amusing kamishibai tale of self-discovery, make your own set of rocking hina dolls. The imperial figures featured in this special holiday represent the hope and happiness of girls, and are said to provide protection by carrying illness and misfortune. So here’s to wishing for the well-being of all the women in your life!

3月2日：紙芝居「ねずみのよめいり」とゆらゆらおひなさま

3月3日はひなまつり！女の子の健やかな成長を願い、そしてお祝いする日です。

今月の紙芝居は、かわいいねずみの女の子が主人公の「ねずみのよめいり」。そして女の子も男の子も一緒にゆらゆらゆれるおひなさまを作り、楽しく遊んでひなまつりを祝いしましょう。
