[NEW DATE] [ONLINE] Texas-Japan Business Leaders Roundtable Feat. Tokio Marine HCC

Join JASH for the Texas-Japan Business Leaders Roundtable, a monthly business and policy program series that spotlights engines of creativity, innovation and economic opportunity in our region while connecting Texas and Japan industry leaders to promote bilateral exchange through shared experiences and diverse insights.

June’s gathering will feature Tokio Marine HCC – a leading specialty insurance company headquartered in Houston, Texas and a member of the Tokio Marine Group, a premier global company founded in 1879.

In 2020 Tokio Marine HCC acquired GCube, investing heavily in renewable energy insurance. The acquisition will create a new “centre of excellence” in renewable energy insurance. GCube has a 25-year history of supporting renewables developers worldwide and will combine this with Tokio Marine HCC’s global reach and history of specialty insurance.

The acquisition of GCube shows that the shift in focus to zero carbon emissions and renewable energy is having an impact on a larger range of industries and fields. The renewable energy sector is an evolving space that is currently witnessing strong and significant growth. The industry is not only expanding in the US, but also in new areas of the world such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Join us on June 16 to learn more about the work of Tokio Marine HCC and their recent investment into renewable energy insurance as Tokio Marine HCC CEO Susan Rivera and GCube CEO Fraser McLachlan speak to the recent changes in the specialty insurance and renewable energy insurance fields.

This event is free to members with registration. Tickets are available to non-members for $15.00. Register or get tickets below.
