With the difficulties our Houston community has endured in the face of Winter Storm Uri, the decision has been made to change the format of the 2021 Houston Regional Japanese Language Speech Contest. Rather than holding a live event, participants will submit a recorded version of their poem/haiku/speech recitation.

Participants will have until Friday, February 26 to submit recordings. Winners will be announced no later than March 5.
