Celebrate the Lunar New Year with JASH and the Museum of Fine Arts Houston (MFAH). Enjoy music, art activities, games, and more as we honor the Year of the Mouse.

CREATE
The Brown Foundation, Inc. Plaza and Cullen Sculpture Garden
• A giant scroll with wishes of good luck and fortune for the Houston community
• Japanese ema plaques with wishes to hang from the trees
• Ceramic sculptures of zodiac animals
• Paper flowers inspired by Vietnamese chrysanthemums, a symbol of life
• Lion masks to bring good fortune
• Sparkling firecracker sculptures to scare away evil spirits
• Press & play with zodiac animal stamps
• Red paper lanterns to symbolize a bright future
• Mochi, a Japanese rice cake, with the Japan-America Society of Houston (JASH)
• Origami with Asia Society Texas (4 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
