Armando Perez

Armando Perez is the executive vice president for H-E-B Houston. In his role, he works with the retailer’s nearly 29,000 partners to deliver outstanding products and services under the H-E-B, Joe V’s and Mi Tienda banners to Houstonians and customers in the greater Houston area.

Armando, a native Texan, has been with the H-E-B Grocery Company since graduating from the University of Texas-Pan American 23 years ago. He received a bachelor’s degree with a specialization in finance. In addition, he has completed management programs at both Cornell University and Harvard University.

He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the United Way of Greater Houston.  In addition, Armando sits on the Kinder Institute Advisory Board and has previously served as Chairman of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and as a board member of the Houston Food Bank and The a former member of the board of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Foundation.
